Profile
I'm Brazilian, living in London, and part of TwelvePoint team as web consultant. My current writing projects are a script about the last Welsh Prince of Wales, Llywelyn ap Gruffudd: (The Last Prince of Wales) - I am virtually in love with Wales since I first set foot in Gwynedd, in 1995. I'm currently working on the third draft of the script.
I've also co-written the adaptation to the screen of the brilliant novel A Girl Made of Dust, by Nathalie Abi-Ezzi, with Steve Hawes. The script is currently in the hands of producers looking for funding and, if you're interested, you can take a look at the project's website: A Girl Made of Dust, the film.
I'm keen to promote one of Steve's plays: Original Sin, about an abbess in medieval Italy and her relationship with a representative of the inquisition. The play was staged in Basingstoke in 2009. Here's the play's blog: Original Sin, the play.
Projects
The Last Prince of Wales
The Last Prince of Wales (working title), follows the last year of Llywelyn ap Gruffudd's life, from the moment of his wife's death, which coincides with his brother David's unexpected attack on England; to the aftermath of his death, in 1282. The action is interspersed with crucial moments of his past, and builds a comprehensive picture of the personal and political dilemmas he was confronted with from a very early age.
A Girl Made of Dust
This is the adaptation of the brilliant novel by Nathalie Abi-Ezzi about a ten year-old girl who is trying to rescue her father from depression in the middle of the war in Lebanon, in the 80s. I've co-written it with Steve Hawes.
Here's the project's website: A Girl Made of Dust, the Film. You can also find here the project's treatment.
